Tom Watson and Medical Science

I just finished watching Tom Watson lose in a playoff in the British Open at 59 1/2.........wow!
Yes, he lost the match, but he played the entire tournament with an artificial hip. Think about it! His own hip was worn from years of wear and tear, but with a combination of technology, aggressive rehabilitation and strong will he had another moment in the sun. It is a lesson for all of us that we can always try new challenges...and a message to continue to allow the medical system in this country grow and develop and expand our horizons.
