Okay!!! If you listen to my reports around the country on radio or check them out on, you know that I had at least a dozen warnings for the weekend including not overdoing it with alcohol, the importance of seat belts and the need to be safe in the sun.
So, while on a short trip to the grocery store I bumped into three people who looked like Maine lobsters. If you are feeling the pain, you have my sympathies. A little aloe might help, but I am more concerned about the long term damage. Each time you overdo it you increase the risk of skin cancer down the road. If this won't stop you.....realize that you also increase the rapidity which your skin will age. The summer is just starting.......use common sense. Limit exposure and try the sunblock. Check us out on for more.

  1. Aloe Vera is used as a common treatment for sunburns. Not only it soothes the skin, it may also assist in the healing process. Apply to the affected areas as needed. Although the gel extracted directly from an aloe Vera plant works best.
