Good News For Women With Poor Sex Drive

Itis an early report, but this is a very hot topic in medicine with a great deal of resaerch. A drug called flibanserin, which was originally developed as an antidepressant, may find new life as a way to boost female libido. Researchers pooled clinical data from 3 studies to include a total of 1,946 postmenopausal women in their analysis. Treatment with 100 mg of flibanserin once a day improved the number of satisfactory sexual encounters and sexual desire in women, as well as reduced psychological distress about sexual dysfunction. We will need to see ifthe study holds up over time.
