Weightlifiting and Aerobics for Diabetics

Many people say it's important to exercise three days a week. A new study in the Journal of the American Medical Association has found that weightlifting in aerobic exercise seem to provide the best benefit. This is particularly important in diabetics. This study looked at diabetics and found that when you combine the aerobic exercise and weight lifting the body uses more sugar. Blood sugar is fueled the muscles in more sugar is burned during aerobic activity. We know that weight training builds more muscle. This requires sugar as well. The authors of the study say that when you combine these two forms of exercise is like taking two different pills. Obviously this is very important for diabetics but since many Americans suffer from prediabetes it could be crucial for them as well.
